​Golden Oatmeal

A take on #goldenmilk for a new #breakfastbowl idea 🍯

To make this oatmeal you will need:

1 cup oats (I use certified gluten free rolled oats)

2 cups non dairy milk (almond works great!)

1/2 tbsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/8 tsp ground star anise pepper

Sprinkling ground cloves

Seeds from one vanilla bean

Maple syrup to taste (depending on desired sweetness)

Instructions:

Bring the milk and oats to a boil in a medium pan over low heat. Add the rest of the ingredients- adjusting to create the taste and sweetness you want. Decorate (I used almond butter, bee pollen, star anise and flowers), serve and enjoy!
