Probiotic Papaya Fig Smoothie
Probiotic smoothie bowl.
I’m down at my beach house (about an hour south of Rome) and sans my beloved vitamix and most of the superfoods I have stocked in my pantry.
However, when there’s a will there’s a way. Right? 🙌🏻⭐️
So today, through sheer force of will, I was able to come up with a super healthy plant based smoothie bowl as a mid-morning meal.
It is also quite good looking- even though I’m working with new surfaces, different lighting and limited utensils and objects. 🤗☀️

Papaya fig smoothie bowl:
1 frozen #banana
1 large handful sliced papaya
3 figs (skinned)
Seeds (insides) of 4 passion fruits (maracuja)
3/4 cup unsweetened soy yoghurt
1/4 cup orange juice
Squeeze lemon juice
I blended this with an immersion blender. Therefore there were still some distinct pieces of the maracuja but still delicious (Once you use a vitamix for blending, I swear- your whole world changes!) totally addicted 😆
I then decorated it with coconut milk swirls, raspberries, figs, ribes and more passion fruit.
