Mid-Morning Smoothie Boost

Happy Sunday (almost Monday). Here’s a good recipe for a nutrient rich smoothie for a mid-morning boost.

This zingy green smoothie is made of:

2 handfuls baby spinach

1 frozen banana

10 strawberries (frozen and fresh)

1/3 cup coconut milk

1/2 cup almond/hazelnut milk

1 thumb sized piece of fresh ginger

1 tbsp hemp seeds

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tbsp maca powder

1 tsp matcha powder

1 handful raspberries

Instructions:

Blend (I used my vitamix ), decorate (this bowl is topped with pomegranate seeds,  ground flax, raw cocoa nibs, puffed quinoa and coconut butter swirls.

Serve and enjoy!
